Lunch in the Vinery

We drove across Bilsdale to Helmsley this morning as it was almost the last chance for us to see Kirbymoorside Camera Club's annual exhibition. It has been a lovely sunny day all day, great for a drive over the North York Moors. Helmsley is a bit of a tourist hotspot and it was busy but we managed to find somewhere to park.

Coffee first at the Cocoa Tree followed by a look around the exhibition. Some super prints there and a blast from the past when we saw that they had had a visitor from our old camera club, Havant, and it was somebody that we knew. Unfortunately we didn't bump into them but I guess they are staying in the area.

Later we went to the walled garden where we had lunch in the Vinery. The grapes aren't ready to eat yet but I do remember when we were last there in August that they are a black variety.
