A much simpler time

Without admitting how old I am I was born in a much simpler time.
My mother baked amazing baking with real butter (none of the healthier spread type stuff) on a coal range & she cooked the best roasts ever - roast lamb & roast beef - & best of all crispy roast potatoes in unhealthy slabs of fat (dripping I think it was called).
Then you become all grown up & more aware.
Carbs & fats & the other unhealthy stuff becomes the devil.
But just sometimes you long to be that skinny kid who never thought about any of that.
