Early Camellia

After an early session at the gym, some shopping and a dog walk alongside the river downtown I made a brief visit to Pollard Park. There is a touch of colour in the camellia garden with some flowers braving the cold weather. A heavy shower of rain during the night has bruised some of the blooms but I managed to find this pristine flower tucked away almost out of sight. The nearby name tag says "Bernice Boddy".....
