Another One Gone

There was a controlled explosion this morning.

Squirrel had her last 'toddler' gymnastics - she is moving up next week so there is no supervision from us, she just has to follow instructions from the trainers.
Good luck with that!
She is rather headstrong and wilful is Squirrel.

While Squirrel was at gymnastics I nipped along and had a couple of tyres put on the car (dead after only 10,000 miles! Talk about rubbish!!). The Cygnet was fascinated with the whole process.

There was a bit of moisture about while I was in the woods with the dog and I saw this chap, along with about 6 of his mates heading for higher ground. They will be building an ark soon.

There was an outbreak of fungi had appeared overnight but the slugs and snails had been at them already - as evidenced by the trails over them. You have to be quick to get a pristine specimen.

There were six of us went out for a meal at the club (Italian night) but we were well over an hour late in sitting down ....... The Captain's Mate got a call from work as they were about to leave - something had gone horribly wrong and despite it being she could not fix and would have to wait until the IT boys get to on Monday, she had to contact various people, run on-line tests and email the managing director to say things had gone tits up before she could join us.
She was in a remarkably good mood when she arrived and was as happy as a newt when we left their house where we had retired to have coffee (and large drinks for these not driving).

My alternative blip was this one ....... but shape lost out to light
