Snow Kite

Another morning with Black Ice, the roads first thing were pretty treacherous.  The grit truck was out, so the roads had grit on them, even so everyone was driving very slowly!

This afternoon I went up to the Snow Farm with Mary, and I walked around Highlander and Mary's Trail, finishing with a hot chocolate at the cafe.  

When we arrived at the car park, this guy was testing his snow kite.   Perfect for a blip.  It was freezing, 0C, and a bit windy which was a unpleasant. They got a dusting of snow overnight, so the skiing was perfect, lots of people up there including many children..
