Master Chef Junior!

On the contrary to the background, LM did NOT partake in an Art Camp this week. He learned how to be a Master Chef! I now have a child who tells me that my knives are dull and therefore dangerous, and that what I am doing is called "mincing" not "chopping".

In the photo above you see Dr. Sylvia Byrd, the camp director, and Dr. Reuben Moore, the interim head of the Department of Food Science, Nutrition, and Health Promotion. The art in the background is a reminder the reception was held in the Art Department's jury space; all food was prepared by the kids. LM got an award: The Sharpest Knife in the Block.
