Long way down

Today I joined Year 5 for the day in Sark. They've been camping there since Tuesday. They've had an absolute ball; coasteering, kayaking, geocaching and lots and lots of walking. Today's beach was Grand Greve off the west side of the Coupée. It really is a perilously steep trek. The steps have been cut into the cliff face and have been sabotaged by numerous landslides. The journey back up after a couple of hours on the beach was very, very difficult! But well worth the sore legs! Brilliant day!
