Tower, Fernwood Village, Notts.

I have admired the brutal architecture of this tower on many a trip up or down the A1.  Today, I finally had a bit of time and pulled off the road to investigate.  Sadly, the tower is in a poor state of repair and I could find no information on it by googling.  It sits in the middle of a modern housing estate in a suburb of Newark on Trent.

Unless the developers get to it, I imagine its robustness will mean that it's still there years after all the neighbouring housing has crumbled away.
