A job for life!

Scaffolders working on York Minster.

Major restoration work being undertaken yet again. These guys were not very high up but some of the scaffolds were hundreds of feet high! Heaven knows how this building was constructed with medieval equipment!

I had intended to blip the bronze model of ancient York which was presented to the Minster by the City Council to celebrate the Millennium but either I was having a senior moment and looking in the wrong place or it has mysteriously disappeared. Perhaps a fellow blipper could enlighten me as to its whereabouts!
