Leavers

So that's it, school's out for summer. The leaving P7s were piped out at midday, with the rest of the school and parents massed in the playground for cheering and applauding. And, come August, my eldest (she's the one on the right in the photo) will be going to high school. Believe it or not, typing the last couple of sentences there was actually more emotional than being there in the playground in person! 

Looking forward now to several weeks of non-school and the familiar cry of "Hair! Teeth! Shoes!" will be very absent in our house in the mornings.
