Luis

Luis (second right) is the only character in my framed short story to be referred to by his real name - see yesterday's blip for the back story. After forty-three years of service as head waiter, I just felt he had to be recognised! He is a lovely man and Angels, the owner beside him, is also lovely. We had a nice lunch with Mila - who translated the story into Castillian - and her husband which featured the very plate which is the title to the story and also fitted in the dessert and wine that are also mentioned! Dd will be blipping the lead dish shortly!

For my record, our street kid friend in Cairo, Yasheen, had his very first English class today. It happened!!! It may even appear in blip . . . as his teacher is a fellow blipper. I've seen a picture and it was great to see him dressed up in a smart checked shirt with a pen in his hand. . . . quite the young student!
