Science Lates - London Science Museum
The big day has arrived and at 2.30 pm we all left in the minibus for the trip to the London Science Museum - arrived finally at 5 pm after a brief hiatus with parking and then off to work setting up the quiz, ice blocks, electronics circuits, crystal structures and strongman. The students were absolutely brilliant and we drew large crowds all evening - rob and Jenny at one point had about 30 people around them for their quiz. But I think most fun was had by the people using diamonds to cut through ice - they really do slice through a block - see the blip - like a knife slides through butter - the students were on such a high after the event - burgers week called for at 11 pm on the journey home
