Villa Carlotta

We have hardly been out on the ferries during this visit. On Monday we used the ferry to go to the cookery class, but today we decided to take a leisurely trip over to Bellagio. The photograph is taken as the ferry approaches Tremezzo and shows the Villa Carlotta.


We had lunch at Bellagio in the Ristorante Bilacus which is very pleasant. The seating is on a terrace overlooking the Salita Serbelloni. The terrace is on a steep section of the road, and so is raised above the crowds passing below.
