Memorial Service

Out early  to Ahakista to commemorate the loss of 329 lives, thirty years ago today when an Air India fight left Toronto, Canada and plumeted into the ocean 80 miles off the coast here after a terroist's bomb exploded on the plane There were no survivors and only 131 bodies were recovered.
Family members make the journey to Ahakista each year or when they can
and are joined by dignitaries, both local and from further afield and people from the community, it's always a very moving event.
Spend an afternoon in the delightful company of my girl before returning her to Kinsale.
