Island Getaway

My hubby and I are thrilled to be at Captiva Island for our 35th Wedding Anniversary that is this weekend. As soon as we checked in our room, we started to relax! Even though this was not the best selfie, I thought it captured the joy and happiness in our eyes to be together. We had a delicious dinner at The Captiva House with a delightful surprise ending. A couple that was sitting close to us, heard the conversation that we had with our waiter telling him our anniversary was on Sunday. The couple wished us a Happy Anniversary and paid for our dessert. It was a very sweet way to start our island getaway.
