Mon

Mon (or Xosé Ramón Rivas, to give him his full title), as promised. Mon is part of the programme planning department for EIFF this year. He's also very much involved with the excellent IberoDocs festival, and is an all-round lovely fella. (I don't like this as much as the photo I took of him the other day – that'll teach me to bump friends for movie stars.)

I saw four films today, the best of which were the magnificent 45 Years, which features an absolutely superb performance from Charlotte Rampling, and Brian Wilson biopic Love & Mercy, which left me a little in love with Paul Dano. You can catch both of these, should you wish to, on Sunday as part of Best of the Fest. :-)
