Most of the morning spent in the bank trying to make changes to my facilities or get a bank account that you can actually use outside of Egypt and can access other currencies! Egypt's banks don't like providing this facility... LE currency only and no online banking or overseas facilities.... Mmmmmm..... Interesting..... Anyway, eventually I have been granted these facilities as long as I provide 101 different documents from my employers etc... But as it's Ramadan they said this may take 2 to 3 months......
Good job I'm patient!!! Haha!!!
But despite all this the banker, Raghda, was extremely helpful. I love how Egyptians just want to become your friend... so we swapped phone numbers and she said to just call her if I needed anything else from her or the bank..... I feel a heist coming on!!!!!
Rest of the day spent doing more jobs and errands, sunshine on the balcony, French study, gorgeous Skype, and an evening stroll along Sudan St...
