Lily

Unfortunately I don't like Lilies. They smell odd and clothing can get so easily marked with their deadly stamens. Having said that, these were given to my wife tonight and they've come to my aid in that I've been stuck in front of a Mac all day and there isn't too long before today becomes tomorrow. Not very good with plants/flowers - I called this image 'Iris 25-6-15', just as well I checked before adding it to my blipfoto journal.
Note to self: Just about to buy a wide angle lens - should that money be spent on a macro?
Just discovered that Lilies can be lethal to cats - thankfully we don't have one. On line it suggest that you suck off the pollen with a vacuum cleaner as they fall off fairly quickly anyway.
Second note to self: Retrieve our vacuum from the neighbours who borrowed it last week.
Third note to self: Stop writing such long entries.
