In da Garden

It's been a fine warm day but overcast mostly.  A lovely calm evening and the sun has been out too :)

I woke this morning with the massive Thialf crane returning to Shetland, but Blipped it last year, so will leave it just now :)  It's been a busy day in the museum and I've been working on the desk .  Cruise liner Marco Polo has been in Lerwick today and we've had almost 500 people through the door.
After tea and it was straight out into the garden for hours and enjoyed the evening.  Mam is due along and we are heading for a walk to see my sister Laura, then it'll be a relaxing night at home.

I haven't had a chance to get much in the garden lately, poor weather or working!  With such a great calm evening, I took advantage of it.  I got the lawn mowed and then finally got round to getting flowers planted.  They've been waiting for a while now.  I finally had to give up on the garden, when the midges got too much!  My flowers have had a poor start to the summer with the poor weather but lets hope they start coming at soon.  I'll have to blip them again when I get better light and they are flowering more.  Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
