Bottle

I was up early for a train down to Milton Keynes, and spent the afternoon in a meeting with colleagues. There was slightly more than the average amount of wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth.

But at the end we made a presentation to D who is soon to retire after goodness knows how many years of service to the Open University in general and maths in particular. Of course we gave him a Klein Bottle . I didn't realise that you could get them made in glass. I've knitted one or two in the past, mind. Of course the glass version is as useless as the knitted version for putting your wine in, so we gave him some wine in normal bottle too.
