When you get to nearly 6pm and realise that you haven't even considered a blip for today then in the summertime there's always the possibility of resorting to the back garden. I rest my case, dear souls.

Also, I regret not having had the time to comment on, or even look at, all your blips for the last ten or twelve days. Indeed I can't really vouch for the next few days as I have a few commitments, not least of which is the sad task of having to draft a eulogy for my (younger) brother's funeral next Monday afternoon.  I want to get it right - and indeed his wife and daughters will want me to get it right - so some thought is needed, and some errands and stuff have to be done.
