Serious Drinking

Cruising the garden with the camera waiting to pounce on anything that moved, I caught a glimpse of this large skipper butterfly sitting on the lavender .

I like skippers because of their cute faces but he really didn't want to be blipped, was most unhappy at facing the lens and cleared off pretty sharpish. I suppose it must be like looking at a giant eye of a predator smacking it's lips waiting to consume you whole! Ok, I've got a vivid imagination :)
