NOTHING BUT THE BEST!

You may remember that the proposed Blip visit by Turnx3, her husband, Roger and daughter, Jen, did not happen on Monday, but today we were very pleased that they could fit us into their busy schedule.

It was lovely to meet them all, and especially Turnx3, as we have been Blip friends for quite sometime now - and true to form, it was a great blip meet.

Our husband's got on very well together, and of course, Mr. HCB is in his element when he can show someone round his garden - he was pleased to be able to give Roger a bag of lettuce (much nicer than that supermarket stuff!) - picked just before they left - now if they had come a month later, they could have taken tomatoes and cucumber too!

We didn't have very long together, but I felt we got to know each other over tea, coffee and cake - all served using the best china and we even had cake forks and serviettes!   It was good to hear that Roger has the same sort of "warped" sense of humour as us - so there were lots of laughs too.

Just before they left, we decided we had to have the customary "blip meet photograph" - so here we all are.  We were sad to see them go, but Mr. HCB and I hope that they will visit again soon.

Every new friend
     is a new adventure.....
