New England-Day4

We had a full day out today, driving through New Hampshire up to Maine for our first seafood chowder and lobster- a must on this coast!
After spending a few hours sightseeing in Ogunquit we had dinner and then had tickets for a Show at The Ogunquit Playhouse- 'Victor and Victoria'. It was the opening night, a sort of dress rehearsal, but was really wonderful. We were 3 rows from the front and laughed so much. The cast were magnificent and it was a tonic.
By the time we were home it was very late, too late for my friend to repack, so will have to be up early again tomorrow. She is off to New Orleans after travelling over with me and we'll meet up later to accompany each other on the flight home. Not thinking about that yet as I'm going up to Vermont with the friend I'm staying with. This should be very special!!
