Smoky Sun

The wildfire that started in our area a week ago Monday has increased to around 8000 acres, but hundreds of firefighters prevented it from moving into populated areas, and only a few structures were lost. This evening the wind shifted, the smoke changed direction, and the sky turned brown and created this halo around the sun. 
More than 200 wildfires are burning throughout the state, some are only a few hundred acres and some are thousands.
