A Bighorn Blip
With my apologies to those who don't like "stuffed animals."
My hiking buddy and I drove 63 miles (one way) to go to a big outdoors store called Cabelas. He had 75 dollars in gift certificates that were burning a hole in his wallet. We also needed a few things for our upcoming hiking trip.
That's right...I said hiking trip. After our debacle failure disaster trip of last October in Tennessee, we are trying it again. 3 days and 30 miles in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We are leaving on Sunday afternoon, and will begin hiking on Monday.
I got some butane/propane canisters for my new stove, some carry bags for my water purifier, and a nifty new hat with a hanging cloth that protects my neck from the sun.
The store has a mountain in the middle of it, filled with the bighorn sheep and MANY other animals.
Again...my apologies.
