I received my new “toy” last night, and I spent much of the morning trying it out.  To say that I am delighted would be quite an understatement.  It isn’t a wide angle lens, however, and by the time I remembered it was Weds, the light wasn’t great and my attempts at the challenge just didn’t work out as planned. 

I set out this morning to capture some shots of the hummingbirds, and as I was facing the feeder with all the green trees behind it, I heard some activity at the other feeder which sits just outside my kitchen window.  So instead of a green background, this beauty is against the white window frame and I thought it was worth posting. The extra is another dragonfly.
