This is a church in town after it was burned down yesterday
It comes exactly a week after a house caught fire and a family lost their home and most of their possessions.
The town is in shock
Nothing of this magnitude happens here and to have two such incidents only a week apart, seems almost unreal.
The church is destroyed
The roof is gone and the inside is gutted, all the beautiful stained glass has shattered in the heat
Two hundred years of touchable history disappeared in as many minutes and now all that remains is the brick framework, steeped in so many memories
It was a meeting place for old and young, it provided comfort and solace. Life and love were celebrated there, but now people are angry and upset, shocked and saddened.
Two teenaged boys have been arrested on suspicion of arson
Sometimes it's hard to understand and the coming weeks will be a huge test of people's faith and forgiveness.
