For the first time in 30 years, I got the train to Paisley!
I was there for the launch of a new incubator for creative retail businesses, and I was really impressed with the great range of startup businesses that will be based there. The plan is to help them to set up ecommerce sites, as well as providing retail space in the town centre.
Paisley is a bit of a mix, some fantastic architecture, some new street paving and pedestrian friendly areas, but lots of empty, run down shop fronts.
There is so much potential in the town, it would be great to see it regenerate. Hopefully it won't be 30 years until I'll be back on that train again.
