First accident

Sophia managed to slice two of her fingers on a photo frame today and there was blood everywhere.
I couldn't stop her screaming and the blood at the same time.
Luckily we have a medi centre on the resort where we live so I took a manic dash there holding her hand in a muslin that was rapidly filling with blood.
I'm not sure how I managed to hold it together but I think mother strength kicked in somehow.
My husband was at work and I couldn't reach him so I was trying to deal with it all on my own.
Thankfully she is ok, we did have to take her to hospital to get it checked over by an orthopaedic doctor just in case she had done any other damage but she hadn't.
One of the most stressful days ever. If I could have take the pain away, I would have done anything.
This is when living abroad is so difficult.
