It aint half hot Mum!

It's been a scorcher today at last!!!

It's Rik's birthday today so we've been out to lunch with relatives who are over for the week. We were able to sit outside and then went for a short stroll towards L'Etacq.

Back home we had a small piece of birthday cake that has become a bit of a tradition. I'm not a baker at all, but I can make this Raspberry Blueberry Lime Drizzle Cake as it's very easy and tastes yummy!

This shot is of St. Ouen's from Big Vern's or L'Ouziere looking towards Corbiere Lighthouse. The tide was up at lunchtime and was on the turn when I took this. It could almost be the tropics!

I've seen online that we may have a chance of seeing the Northern lights down here tonight about 9.45pm. Might just have to drive to have a look!!
