Across The Reserve

Taking down the marquee this morning went very smoothly, we take our time. No rush, if it starts to rain we have another cup of tea until it fairs up! 

There was a time when we started to pack up all our jewellery and furniture at 6pm and carried on until the big marquee was down and packed. We would then drive home, sometimes not getting in until midnight. That was when we were young and needed to have businesses open on Monday mornings.

It was nice to get home this morning and soak in the bath. To find a blip I suggested a drive up to Eycott Hill a local Cumbria Wildlife Trust nature reserve and SSSI.

Across the fields is Great Mell Fell, the other side of the A66.
