Fairway Swingers

My friend, Anna, began a small golf group several years ago for some curlers who like to get out and swing the clubs in the summer, but don't like the onerous and humbling task of keeping score. The group is fun, relaxing and there is no pressure. Exactly the kind of golf that appeals to me - and many others. The group has grown over the years, expanding to include non-curlers as well, and for the past two years has been officially registered as a league. When I am in town and have the opportunity I like to golf with the Fairway Swingers and catch up with a lovely group of friends.

After our game, I went back to Margot's place (far left), with whom I had dinner on Friday. She also was very generous to have me stay at her place overnight. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Margot! After coffee with friends, it was time to take the train back home. 

I hadn't taken the train before and it was quite comfortable. There were some pretty views of the lake along the way.
