Festival of St. Alban (Albanifest)

The city of Winterthur is preparing for the traditional Albanifest this weekend, organised by volunteers from clubs and associations. I am personally not really connected to the Albani tradition, but for locals it's THE local event in the year, mainly for meeting people they don't see the rest of the year and the possibility to try different, worldwide dishes.

The main street still looked very calm early this morning, except a team installing the flags and the lorries arriving with the rides.
