Not a bad gaff...

Went to the beautiful Chartwell today... the home of Churchill. This is the back of the house, as seen across one of the lakes - some of which the great man himself created. The other side of the house sports a full size military tank in the front garden!

Fascinating place to visit with the feeling that the family has 'just popped out'. The gardens are stunning and I loved the walled vegetable garden with artichokes so large that they would feed a village!
