Like father, like son

Waves were up again at Sandy Beach, but I was supposed to be volunteering the afternoon at the Friends of the Library Book Sale.   So (naturally) I went first to the beach and then to the sale.   This one is taken midday.  Leaving the sale after 6PM closing, we were greeted by half a rainbow against a dark grey sky, filling in to a full span, but my camera wouldn't take the foto. 
The first extra gives you an idea of the power of a wave.   
The second extra is a misty-eyed rainbow shot on my way home, again at the beach.
