We're meant to be practising sits and responding more quickly, as well as engaging more with the dog. Tomorrow night is lesson 3 and I haven't made much progress with Hector. I have apologised to him as he has a rubbish owner. Apparently one should use minimal speech/language when training them. Too much language is "white noise" and I use his name too often. However, he is better walking on a lead - sometimes! I'm just too laissez-faire with him. Hector has his own agenda!
