A whole secret world underneath the big fern. Damp and humid with all sorts of tiny creatures running about. Sunshine filters through the leaves highlighting little seedlings that spring up. A couple of snails sleep contentedly in the warmth and a few little spiders spread their delicate webs from leaf to leaf hoping to catch unsuspecting insects.
