Original Bay Horse

In contrast to the big hills and sunshine of (most) of the last week today is grey and the cloud base isn't much above the buildings in Horwich.

The Original Bay Horse is highly recommended but I am not a great fan of the beer they serve and there is a Holt's pub just along the road - perhaps next time I'll look in here and forego a pint of Holt's bitter, perhaps.

The 29th in my Manchester Pubs series.

Am catching up with some backblips:

Friday's Corran Ferry .

Thursday's Shenavall Bothy .

Wednesday's Caledonian Canal at Fort Augustus .

Tuesday's Pauline crossing the wire bridge at Steall .

Monday's PS Waverley leaving Fort William .

Sunday's A fell runner on Binnean Beag .

Saturday's Evening Sun on the Pap of Glencoe .
