Marguerite
Over here they are called shasta daisies but I have always known them as marguerites.. I can remember seeing lots of these growing wild. This is a cultivar, but still pretty. I have several clumps of this, my favorite flower.
Today is much cooler, for a day! Back in the 90s tomorrow. We surely must get a storm after all this up and down.. I have been watering this morning. Our soil is very clayey and you would not believe how quickly it dries and cracks, even after all the rain we have had. I am sure there is moisture at depth, but many of the garden plants do not have roots that go down to depth.
