A bargain!

This colourful flower bed lies on the banks of the Ythan estuary at the entrance to our village and  is one of the community landscaped areas that a group of volunteers help to maintain. A member of the gardening group grew all of these lupins from one small packet of seeds that had been reduced to half price. That's what I would call a bargain! 

The wonderful range of colours have all been developed by traditional selective plant breeding; no contentious gene poking was involved!
