The baker and his wife

Back blip three.
Today we spent time in Vouvant. This small village sports a 13th century bridge over the river Mere. There are lots of other interesting things about this place but we had come to see the firing of an old bread oven. As far as I could tell the present baker is the third generation to have used the oven. It is not in regular use now and is only fired up on special occasions. Today's blip is the baker and his wife firing up the oven for the second time that day. The brioche produced was quite delicious!
