Before I went to Romania I counted 8 buds on the rose bush by the front door. When I got back this morning, this is what greeted me! This one fully out, and another well on the way, with 6 still thinking it's a bit cold.

When we moved here in November the bush still had several flowers, and they lasted well into January. I was worried after the hot weather in March that the greenfly had done for the flowers this year, as the bush was covered in the evil things, but it looks like I needn't have worried too much.
