Hmm the stress of having had ballet exams at the weekend seems to have taken hold and I am lucky enough to be getting a glimpse of teenage behaviour from Carys as she is tired.

Having said that she is very excited about learning some grade four steps this evening in what was her grade three class.

As another blipper has pointed out there seems to be a dearth of bees this year and worryingly I would concur. My early lavender is flowering and not a single bee in sight. Although there were a few bees on my poppies yesterday there are none today. I am hoping it is down to the poor summer weather rather than anything more sinister. Bees are vital to our survival as a species.
