Purpose

Today Prashant talked about purpose. If we're alone and have an agenda, we can usually follow through and fulfill that moment's purpose. But if ten friends show up, it's easy to get derailed. Now I don't recall exactly how he linked that back to what we were doing (he always manages it), but I could totally relate. I've enjoyed being here on my own and having and fulfilling my own purpose every day. It's fun to go out with folks occasionally, but it's also nice to not have to constantly coordinate everyone's desires.

Today after class, practice, lunch, and a rest, my purpose was to get more coffee and another chocolate bar. That errand took me past this makeshift idol.
