Tiny Tuesday: Lichen/moss

Out for a quick walk after work, wee bitty tired, was on call last night and had to do some telephone trouble shooting at 4am, problem solved but sleep then evaded me and was into work at 8am for planned shift (yaawwwn).

Spotted this delicate wee moss type stuff growing on to of a fence post, now it blows a gale constantly out here, always surprised what manages to grow! I like the way the weathered wood has helped in this little plant thriving, also the lichen (I think) has formed a lovely wee circle around the edge of the post.

Now got 2 days off, gonna be helping hubby tidy the shed so he can ACTUALLY get into it!

New project for me now is a cross stitch of a fairground carousel.. colours sorted, time to start stitching :)
