Hoop Dreams

He said his tummy was too poorly today to go to school.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact we had promised to finally assemble the free-standing basketball hoop he got as a birthday present.

He probably wasn't prepared for the hours of construction or the frequency and creativity of the swearing from his parents but he is recovering now by shooting hoops in his pyjamas.
