My City: Day 1708: Toronto
The quiet of the studio after a productive day. I have completed 20 panels for the upcoming show...we have been in the studio for 23 days now and it seems like I have always been there...having this amount of space to work in is incredible and we are also ready with our workshops listing, space rental listings...hard to think that I was not even thinking of opening a business and studio, let alone with an amazing fellow artist. Our styles are opposite when it comes to our work. Dilana works in oils and is a classically trained artist, that does amazing portraits and who is now venturing into new territory and my work is very graphic and uses my photos with the addition of acrylic paint...we both resin our work. Life is full of surprises.
On another note I have one more school function that I need to attend this coming Thursday and then I will hand back my computer, ipad, keys and swipe card....and 41 years of teaching will come to an end...well classroom teaching that is:-0
So I am off to buy my own Mac today...super excited about that!!!
