The bright side of life

Still in Manchester, today I sat my ielts exam in the most amazing (architecturally speaking) place.
The Sackville Building offered a wealth of possible blips; the exam room offered a huge pipe organ, gorgeous stained glass feature windows and intricate frieze work on the ceiling. Sadly, cameras were not allowed so I went for this piece of glasswork instead.
It was fitting somehow that on a dull, wet exam day the sun chose to shine through the vestibule window just as I was leaving the building.
Hope that bodes well for my result! :)
