Rydal Cave.

We started the day walking through Penny Rock woods and then on to edge of Grasmere Water. Spent most of the morning there before we walked across to Rydal cave. We all put some miles in yesterday, but was well worth it. 

I believe this to be an old quarry. I took lots of shots of this. The colours are wonderful to look at and as are the reflections with the mirror still water.
No flash at all used, but just long exposures to achieve the shots. 
Well worth a trip to it if you are ever in the area. 

Sorry I have not returned comments but it is quite 'full on' here but will catch up when I return home at the end of the week.
